Sutton Bay
In its brief history, Sutton Bay has already been nationally recognized as one of the great golf destinations anywhere in the country. Situated above the spectacular landforms of the Missouri breaks, the golf course overlooks Lake Oahe. The 18-hole championship golf course can be described as true inland links golf located on a parcel of land that provides some of the most breathtaking views found on any golf course in the world. The Club also features a wonderful 9-hole short course designed by Graham Marsh as well, and with the best pheasant hunting and walleye fishing in America, Sutton Bay has no equal.
In addition to world class golf and outdoor recreation, Sutton Bay is home to superb amenities. The main lodge at Sutton Bay is spacious, yet cozy and is the focal point for all Sutton Bay activities. The lodge is located three hundred feet above Lake Oahe, with panoramic views and has a casual and rustic feel where members enjoy fine dining. The “grain elevator” is a unique portion of the lodge that is designed in the likeness of the grain elevators found across the prairies of South Dakota. Within the grain elevator is a private wine cellar and a second story “lookout bar” that offers some of the best views of the ranch.
Our Hunting Lodge is “base camp” for hunters and fisherman alike to get ready before their adventure and also a great place to relax and relive a great day in the field or on the water. With 46 individual bedrooms on property that are built from single room cabins to four-bedroom cabins, we have the perfect accommodation options for any size group and truly enjoy the alluring stay & play feature that occurs at some of America’s finest clubs. Our mission at Sutton Bay is to provide our members and guests with unsurpassed service and lasting memories.
